On Sunday, 38 patients were admitted to Arrdi Gardi Medical College, 14 to Tejankar Hospital, one to Patidar, 11 to District Hospital, four to Charitable Hospital, 12 to TS Chaudhary Hospital. Amphotericin B injections necessary for the treatment of these patients are given by administration. 202 injections have been given on Sunday.

Suspected Madavada patient dies

Rajesh Putra Kishanlal Patidar, a resident of Madavada in Khacharoud, died during treatment at RD Gardi Medical College on Sunday. Doctors say that amphotericin B injections are being given to the patients admitted in private hospitals at cost price, while it is being provided free of cost to the patients admitted in the district hospitals. Most patients are not able to afford expensive injections. Due to this, the number of patients in the district hospital is increasing.
