Under the series, on Friday evening, on behalf of Sahitya Akademi, Vijay Sapre and Saathi, Bhopal’s presentation of verse singing of Nirguni Sant Singaji was broadcast live on the YouTube channel and Facebook page of the department. Born in a musical family, Sapre did his early education in music from his father Late. Received legal education from Shankar Rao Sapre and legal education from Mata Manik Sapre. He received training in singing Khayal Tarana, Thumri-Dadra Chaturanga and Bhajan for ten years from Ram Marathe of Gwalior Gharana. Also received guidance from Dhrupad singer Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar and Pandit Balasaheb Poochwale. Shri Sapre has given successful performances in many music festivals. Today in Gamak: Gurmat music and lecture dedicated to the martyr day of Guru Arjun Dev by Punjabi Sahitya Akademi from 5 pm under the series, message of Culture Minister Usha Thakur, lecture by Ratanjit Singh Sherry and Gurvinder Singh Gill, Indore and Bhai Gurudev Singh The performance of Gurmat Sangeet will be telecast by Veer & Saathi, Amritsar.
