Bhopal (Navdunia Representative). The National Health Mission has once again set new targets for the introduction of Corona vaccine to people above 44 years of age. Now the strategy is that in the immunization of people above 44 years, 70 percent of the vaccine will be applied to the other daily beneficiaries, while the first dose will be applied only to 30 percent. For example, if the target is to vaccinate one lakh people every day for those above 44 years, then the new beneficiaries will be only 30 percent, the rest will be the second to get dosed.

Please tell that the officials of the National Health Mission had decided a day before that the first dose would not be imposed to the beneficiaries at present. The reason for this is that the number of beneficiaries who do not have second dose is increasing. Therefore, his second dose will be completed first, only after that the first dose will be started again. Now on Thursday, the target of 30 percent vaccination first dose and 70 percent vaccination second dose has been fixed.

State Immunization Officer Dr. Santosh Shukla said that the first dose cannot completely stop vaccination. If an elderly beneficiary comes to the center, how can he refuse it for vaccination, but the priority will be those who get the second dose. Those who do not have a second dose at any center remain and the vaccine is saved only then the first dose will be vaccinated. Amongst those who get the second dose, the first priority will be for those coming online by booking.
