The announcement of converting a part of Bairagarh Civil Hospital into a dedicated Covid Care Center has reduced the inflow of patients suffering from common ailments. As of last week, more than 600 patients were coming to the OPD every day in the hospital. Now this number has come down to 250.

After the announcement by Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, the preparatory work has started for the hospital to have a 25 oxygen bed covid care center. Along with building an oxygen tank, a pipeline will also be laid here. However, in the last three days, the number of Korana infected patients in Bairagarh and adjoining area has come down drastically. How much benefit will be given to the citizens of the Kovid Center being built in the hospital, only time will tell, because now beds are being started in most of the hospitals.

The initial work of Kovid Hospital has just started. With this announcement, the number of patients suffering from common diseases including cold, cold, fever, surgery has been reduced. There has been a shortage of doctors in the hospital for a long time. The civil hospital is under the burden of health care of citizens of more than 100 rural areas in addition to Bairagarh. At one time, 22 doctors were posted here. Now their number has come down to five. It is difficult to get treatment here in emergency. Patients are referred to Hamidia Hospital even if there is a minor accident.
