If there is pressure from a senior officer or leader in any case or if there is theft or robbery in the house of any officer, then the crook is caught quickly. One such case happened 10 days back. The miscreants committed theft in the abandoned house of a Doordarshan officer in Ravindra Nagar located in Palasia police station area. The police detected the thefts within 24 hours in the case and within 48 hours arrested the accused and sent them to jail.

In fact, in the past, thieves had entered the deserted house of Vijendra Baraniya, a Doordarshan official living in Ravindra Nagar and by breaking the locks of the cabinets, the thieves stole jewelery and cash worth lakhs. Vijendra had directly complained about the theft incident to the DGP, after which all the senior officers reached the spot. Taking immediate action in the case, the police have arrested four people including one main accused Shamu Silavat, two women and another accused who bought goods.

At the same time, the stolen goods have also been recovered by the police from the arrested accused. The main accused Shamu is an auto driver, who used to search the houses and make them a victim and also used to carry out the theft by keeping women together, so that no one could suspect Shamu. The police disclosed the whole matter in a single day. The police also got applause for making quick disclosures.
