On Wednesday morning, an unknown mischievous element molested Shiv Pindi at a Dev site located in Ghatia Bazar in the city and vandalized it. The police immediately rushed to the spot to get information about the incident. After scrutinizing around, police have registered a case against the unknown in connection with the incident.

Giving information about the incident, station in-charge Bhander Vijay Lodhi said that a report has been made by Dayashankar’s son Lakshminarayan, who lives in front of the said Devsthal. In which he has told that on Wednesday morning when he reached the temple situated under the huge Peepal, the Shiv Pindi made there was broken and the tiles of the picture of the Shiv Parvati family found there were also broken. He immediately informed this matter to Dayaldas Chaurasia and Omprakash Sahu, who lived nearby. Through whom the police was informed about the incident.

According to the people present there is a wonderful confluence of both the temple and the mar at this small shrine. There is a Shiva Linga installed in the form of a temple, as well as tiles with pictures of the Shiva family. At the same time, a small hit has also been made here. People of both Hindu and Muslim religions have faith in this place. The incident, which took place on Wednesday, was criticized as an act by people of both religions and called it an act to spoil the atmosphere of communal harmony. At present, the police have registered a case under Section 295 on a complaint of hurting religious sentiments against an unknown person.
