Farmers will get remunerative price by increasing MSP: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Bhopal (AboutGyan State Bureau). On the decision of the Central Government to increase the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Kharif crops for the year 2021-22, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that this would give remunerative price to the farmers. Farmers will also try to increase the production of pulses and oilseeds. The increase in MSP has been done in other crops along with paddy, the main crop of Kharif season. This will not only provide a fair price for the produce to the farmers but will also encourage diversification of crops. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking one step after the other in the interest of farmers.
MSP of urad is Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 6,300, the MSP of groundnut is Rs. 5275 increased from Rs. 5,550, MSP of sunflower seeds increased from Rs.5,885 to Rs. 6,015, the MSP of Soyabean (Yellow) was Rs. 3,880 to Rs. 3,950, the MSP of sesame was Rs. 6,855 to Rs. 7,307 done.
