The incident came to light on Saturday night when Khajrana TI Dinesh Verma was patrolling the scheme-72 arrived. Young and old were roaming the streets with sticks. People told that they are troubled by a madman. As soon as the lights of the houses are switched off, he jumps over the wall and comes inside. Sometimes he steals clothes and sometimes misbehaves with girls. At first people thought that thieves have started coming into the houses. Gradually the women talked to each other and panic spread in the entire locality. TI Verma found the accused in deserted houses and streets on Saturday night.

The patrolling youth told that they have removed CCTV footage from some places. In this, the accused is seen running away. The youth said that the madman climbs on the roofs with the help of pipes and walls. He jumps as soon as he makes noise. A few years ago also this type of incident happened in Vijay Nagar. The accused used to run away by cutting the clothes of the girl students living in the hostel.
