Indore News: Indore, Naiduniya Representative. Rajwada, the pride and heritage of the city, has once again been painted in the color of its old glory. The same shine has come on the wooden building, which was at the time of construction, then after the repair, the walls have also blossomed. Even on the new moon night in the verandah, it is as bright as the night of full moon, so not only the ground floor but also the upper floors have blossomed with protection. The only shortcoming is the tourists coming here.

In fact, during the Pravasi Bhartiya Sammelan itself, the light and sound show had started here and during that time many tourists also came to see it. But this facility was only for the guests who came to the city for the conference. Still the guard of restrictions has not been removed from here but it will be opened for tourists in the month of February itself.

Actually Rajwada is still deprived of tourists because Smart City has not handed it over to the Archaeological Department. In such a situation, the Archaeological Department is not able to allow tourists to enter here and due to non-availability of tourists, the light and sound show could not even start, so the light and sound show prepared by spending about Rs 1.5 crore is still closed.

Can be inaugurated in February

According to DR Lodhi, Superintendent Engineer of Smart City Company, the work of conservation of Rajwada has been completed. 59 crore rupees have been spent in conservation. Now plans are being made to formally inaugurate the Rajwada. Probably by the second week of February, the Rajwada will be inaugurated and handed over to the Archaeological Department and it will be opened for every tourist. Probably the launch will happen in February itself.

History lovers will be able to see the upper floors as well

According to Prakash Paranjpe, Deputy Director of Archeology Department, after handing over to the Archeology Department of Rajwada, the gallery will be prepared here by the department. At present, tourists coming here will get a chance to see three more floors apart from the ground floor. From the windows of the upper floors of the palace, tourists will be able to see the views inside and outside the Rajwada. Security arrangements are yet to be made in these windows.

The ticket rate will be the same

Light and sound show by the tourism department by spending about one and a half crore rupees has been restarted. This time the show has been made even grander. The number of projectors has also been increased. After opening the Rajwada for tourists, shows will be conducted here as before and the ticket rate will also remain the same.
