Jabalpur News: Janta Corona curfew for 32 hours again in the city

Jabalpur, New Dunia Rep. The Janata Corona Curfew, imposed over the weekend to break the chain of corona infection, will continue this week as well. It came into force in the district from 10 pm on Saturday 12th June, which will remain till 6 am on Monday 14th. The Collector issued its orders on Saturday. The Collector had issued an order on 31 May for the Corona Janata Curfew for the weekend. In view of the same order, it will continue to be applicable. For violation of the order, action will be taken against the concerned under the Disaster Management Act and Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.

Appeal to stay at home: Collector Karmaveer Sharma has appealed to the citizens of the district to stay indoors during the Janata Corona curfew. He said that everyone must wear a mask and follow physical distancing strictly. He has cautioned that the corona infection has definitely reduced in the district, but the risk of its re-spread still remains. So everyone needs to be alert and careful.

Right-left rule may end from Monday: The Corona Janata Curfew remained in force for 52 days in the district, which was changed to unlock, in the guide line issued by the Collector, the shops were allowed to open conditionally. According to the condition, the shop on the left side and three days on the right side were opening for three days. A meeting of the District Disaster Management Committee was also held on Saturday regarding this. In the meeting, it has been agreed to relax the rules of opening of shops from right and left. However, this has not been decided yet. This proposal has been sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs, whatever guidelines will be received from there, it will be decided to open the shops accordingly.

Liquor shops will remain closed: During the Corona curfew, the purchase, sale, transportation and storage of liquor has also been banned in Jabalpur city and all the urban areas of the district. In the order issued in this regard, it has been said that all the retail sale shops of country and foreign liquor located in Municipal Corporation Jabalpur, Cantonment Board Jabalpur and Municipality and Municipal Council limits of the district, premises attached to liquor shops, and others related to the sale of liquor. All centres, Ambi Wine Outlets, Bhang and Bhang Ghota shops will remain closed for the whole day on Sundays.
