For the students, a meeting was organized in Nanaji Deshmukh University of Veterinary Sciences in the presence of Vice Chancellor Dr.SP Tiwari and NCC Group Commander Brigadier RK Chikara.

Where Registrar Veterinary University Dr. Shrikant Joshi, Dean Faculty Dr. Ramesh Pratap Singh Baghel, Deputy Group Commander Col PS Banafar and Commandant 2MP R&V Unit Col Shivaji were present. It was suggested in the meeting that NCC should be removed from optional for university students. subject should be done. The way students study some other subjects along with their main subjects, in the same way NCC should be done. Now students have the option to take NCC. In which both theory as well as practical education will be included. Which will be conducted on the basis of one practical and two theory or two practical and one theory period in a week.

Vice Chancellor Dr. SP Tiwari told that whatever syllabus is prepared in the university is done only by the instructions of the Veterinary Council of India. Therefore, this suggestion will also be sent to the Veterinary Council of India. Work will be done in this direction only when instructions are issued from there. Presently the activities of NCC will be conducted as before.
