Jabalpur News: Students learned legal drafting and writing

Jabalpur, New Dunia Reporter. A three-day National Legal Drafting and Writing Workshop was organized by the Internship and Placement Cell of Dharmashastra National Law University. More than 400 students from more than 70 institutes participated in this workshop. Various experts came and taught the tricks of legal drafting in different 11 sessions in the workshop. Special enthusiasm was seen among the students participating during the three-day workshop. This is the first time that law students have been given training in national legal drafting and writing in an online training camp. This will be of great use in his career. Everyone learned a lot in this and took advantage of it.

Awards given for merit: The workshop was inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Upalokayukta Justice Sushil Kumar Palo. The event concluded with a short 15-minute quiz. In this 30 questions were asked related to the workshop and its sessions. The quiz was conducted on Google Forms in a convenient and easily accessible manner. The top six winners will be awarded a cash prize for their merit and a book on legal drafting. The program ended with a speech by Prof. Balraj Chauhan, Vice Chancellor of Dharmashastra National Law University. He appreciated the efforts of Internship and Placement Cell to organize such program even during the pandemic situation of COVID-19. Assistant Professor and Faculty in-charge Utkarsh Kumar Mishra read the report of the entire event. Rishab Gupta of Dharmashastra National Law University won the first prize in the program. Swati Dehria of Dharmashastra National Law University and Riddhima Chadha of Rajiv Gandhi Law University were the runners-up. Stuti Srivastava of National Law University of Dharmashastra, FM Academy of National Law University Ranchi and National Law University Jodhpur were the second runner-up in the important Anwar competition. Special Mention was given to Akshit Gupta of Bharatiya Vidyapeeth Pune. Thanks were expressed by Shruti Tiwari, Establishment and Public Relations Officer. Directed by Ishita Sharma.
