Jabalpur News: With the help of BDU, Jabalpur Railway Division will earn six crores

Jabalpur, New Dunia Rep. The Jabalpur Railway Division is continuously planning and working to increase the freight traffic of the traders. For this, Business Development Unit (BDU) has been constituted by the Commercial Department of Jabalpur Division. Vishwaranjan, Senior DCM of Commercial Department said that with the help of this unit, efforts are being made by Jabalpur Division to increase freight traffic by visiting major stations and contacting traders.

In this episode, a meeting of the Business Development Unit was held, in which a target of transporting 20 rakes per month has been set, due to which the Railways will earn an income of about Rs.6 crore per month.

In the meeting, Assistant Commercial Manager Akhilesh Nayak, Assistant Operations Manager SS Badaria, Assistant Finance Manager GS Haldia and Assistant Divisional Engineer Sumit Kumar called the traders and discussed the problems and suggestions on sending and calling goods from the Railways.

During this, Food Corporation of India, FCI has agreed to send food grains from Railways to different parts of the country by 15 goods trains every month. Along with this, about 5 to 7 rakes per month have also been expressed in Sagar from different parts of the country. Traders have said on this occasion that railways are the cheapest, safest and fastest transport institution, through which traders are always ready to send their goods from one place to another safely. Railways also earns income.
