Railways had stopped the most important train running on this route during the Corona period, which is going to run again. Overnight from Jabalpur to Indore and Chitrakoot Express from Jabalpur to Lucknow will run from June 10. The Jabalpur Railway Division had sought approval from the Railway Board through the West Central Railway Zone to run these trains, which the board has accepted. The division has completed all the preparations related to running these two trains. Not only this, there has been no change in the timing and route of the train.

No decision yet to run three intercity: Jabalpur division had sought approval from the Railway Board to run five trains, which include overnight, Chitrakoot apart from Jabalpur Rewa Intercity, Jabalpur Singrauli Intercity and Jabalpur Ambikapur Intercity. Although the board has given approval to run only two trains at present, the board has still not agreed to the remaining three trains. However, the decision to run all the three intercity has not been decided yet. For this, the passengers will have to wait longer.
