Due to this, the guidelines related to the admission process in the undergraduate courses in the next semester are yet to be decided. This is the reason that the Department of Higher Education has prepared to start admission in PG first semester before BA, BCom-BSc first year this year. For this, emphasis has been given to universities across the state to declare UG final year results by 31 July. Guidelines and counseling schedule may be issued in the second week of June.

CBSE will decide on the 12th exam on 1 June. On that basis, the MP Board will also conduct the Class XII examination, which may take at least one and a half months. Even the result of students is not possible before August. While other UG courses including BA, B.Com and B.Sc are being conducted in June. Even the result can be declared by July.

In view of this, the Higher Education Department may start counseling for admission to MA, M.Com and M.Sc in the first semester. Higher education minister Mohan Yadav has also indicated about this. The department has also started preparations. Officials say that they are making arrangements to ensure that the session is not delayed due to infection. They state that admission in UG is granted on merit basis. Till 12th result is not released, then entry into UG is not possible. At present, senior officials are brainstorming on admission. Admission related information will be given after 15 June.
