MP Higher Education News: Bhopal (Navdunia Representative). Affiliation was not released to 400 Engineering and Polytechnic colleges affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Technology (RGPV), while 31 May is the last date for issuing affiliation. The reason for this is that 70 percent of the colleges have not yet applied for affiliation due to the Corona period. Engineering and polytechnic colleges have sought to extend the date for applying for affiliation. In this regard, the Association of Technical Professionals Institute (API) on Sunday met RGPV’s newly appointed vice-chancellor Sunil Kumar Gupta and congratulated him and demanded extension of the date for applying for affiliation.

Let us know that every year the last date for issuing affiliation to engineering colleges is 31 December. Due to the Corona period it has been extended to 31 May. College operators say they have not applied yet due to the college not being open during the Corona period, so the date of application should be extended by June 30.

Colleges are closed due to lockdown in most districts of the state. Also the staff is not coming. For this reason many colleges have not been able to apply for affiliation. Due to this, the date has been sought to be extended, which the Vice Chancellor has promised to extend till June 30.
