Morena (Rep. of New Zealand).

As soon as the second wave of Corona weakens, not only the general public, the responsible officers are also becoming careless. One such incident came to the fore in the TL meeting held on Monday, when CMHO Dr. AD Sharma, the head of the health department, could not give the latest updates about the corona patients on the request of the collector. Angered by this, the Collector not only served a show cause notice to CMHO Dr. Sharma, but was also instructed to deduct two days’ salary. At the same time, notices have been issued to the concerned officials for non-distribution of ration in Kailaras and Jhundpura.

In the TL meeting, the collector gave full emphasis on corona vaccination. He has told all SDMs, Health Department officials, Municipal Commissioners, CEOs of all Districts and Chief Municipal Officers of urban bodies that in order to increase the speed of vaccination, we have to give one village to every Gram Panchayat and one ward of urban bodies every day. By selecting it, the work of vaccination of 100% people there has to be done. Before this, the vaccination team reached these places, with the cooperation of the public representatives, sarpanch and other people, such planning would have to be done so that the entire village and the people of the ward would be vaccinated in a single day. In the review of ration distribution in the TL meeting, it came to light that there was no distribution of food grains in Kailaras, Jhundpura. On this, the collector directed to give notice to the senior food officer and JSO there. Apart from this, action should be taken against the salesmen. District Panchayat CEO Roshan Kumar Singh, Additional Collector Narottam Bhargava, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Amarsatya Gupta etc. officers were present in the meeting.
