Ujjain (Nai Duniya representative). In Madhya Pradesh, more than 77 thousand people die every year due to diseases caused by tobacco and other smoking products. Dr. Naresh Purohit, Advisor, National Cancer Control Program, told that on the occasion of World Tobacco Prohibition Day, due to this, 8 million people die every year in the world. The lung capacity of smokers also decreases, which increases the chance of death by several folds when infection occurs.

Shocking figures

Dr. Purohit said that 300 children in the state and 5500 children in the country start consuming tobacco products every day. Youth over 15 years of age currently use tobacco in one form or another.
