Placards written with slogans like ‘People stricken by inflation – Modi government is cool’, ‘gimmicks being played in the name of gas tank’, ‘Enough inflation has been killed – Modi government’ etc. were also held.

Under the leadership of city president Mahendra Kataria, officials and workers staged a sit-in protest against the Modi government. At present, where the country is battling the Corona epidemic, the prices of petrol-diesel and edible oil are skyrocketing. There is resentment against the Modi government all over India due to rising inflation. Exactly the same situation is with the Madhya Pradesh government as well. Crude oil prices are low in the international market. Despite this, the price of petrol and diesel is being increased by profiteering by the central and state government.

A demonstration was held at the SSR Petrol Pump Municipal Corporation in the city under the leadership of Block President Basant Pandya. Here a demonstration was held by placing a bike in a cart. Premlata Dave, Councilor Chandraprakash Purohit, Sujit Upadhyay, Gopal Chandwadia, Jitendra Hada, Jitendra Mirchi, Anil Nandecha, Dheeraj Mundra etc. were present.

Mahila Congress led by Yasmin Sherani and Meena Bagga demonstrated by keeping empty tanks at Mhow Road Ratlam Automobiles and Patel Petrol Pump. Nisha Aidna, Kusum Chahar, Hema Vyas, Razia Mansoori, Kavita Mahawar, Vandana Purohit, Najma Ikka Bailot, Mumtaz, Hina Qureshi were present. A sit-in demonstration was held at Sakshi Petrol Pump Sailana Road by Block President Vijay Singh Chauhan and former Councilor Rajiv Rawat. Shantilal Verma, Ishwar Baba, Vinay Pandya, Anil Purohit, Sanjay Khandkar, Sameer Choubey, Abhishek Somvanshi, Tantu Sharma, Amrit Rathod, Rakesh Acharya etc. were present. A sit-in demonstration was held at Reliance Petrol Pump Power House Road under the leadership of Syed Wusat and Nilesh Sharma. Shailendra Singh Athana, Ayush Singh Rathore, Yash Dave, Kishan Singhad, Nadeem Mirza, Rahul Dubey Jonty, Golu Daniel etc. were present.

A sit-in demonstration was held at Kashyap Petrol Pump Mhow Road under the leadership of Wasim Ali and IT Cell President Himmat Jaitwar. Transport cell President Kamlesh Modi, Vice President Gautam Jain, Dipu Sardar, Zafar Khan, Irfan Khan, Rakesh Sharma, Javed Khokhar etc. were present here. Masks were distributed at Vaishali Petrol Pump Dongre Nagar Road under the leadership of Rajinikanth Vyas and Dharmendra Sharma. Workers including Ravi Varma, Raju Dodiya, Raju Solanki, Mamta Solanki, Rais Bhai, Mehfooz Bhai were present. A sit-in demonstration was held under the leadership of Kamaruddin Kachwaha at the Vajpayee Petrol Pump DRM office. Yusuf Shah, Salim Bhai Taylor, Suresh Rathod, Manoj Khoiwal, Hashmatullah Munna, Bhuru Bhai Ahmadi Restaurants, Ashfaq Bhai were present. City Congress President Kataria visited all the dharna sites and boosted the morale of the office bearers and workers.
