Taught homeguard jawans to sail in the river before monsoon
Ujjain (Nai Duniya representative). Before the monsoon, the home guards of the division are being taught to sail the river and do relief and rescue work. On Thursday, the soldiers were taught rescue work during floods in Shipra river at Dutt Akhara Ghat.
Home Guard Company Commandant Santosh Kumar Jat told that training is being given to the Home Guard jawans on how to do relief and rescue work in the wake of monsoon flooding. Training has been started from Thursday. Due to corona infection, only 15 to 15 jawans are being called and given training. Delayed training has been started this year due to infection. Homeguards are taking training on how to rescue people stranded in floods besides driving motorboats in Jawan river. Apart from this, it is being taught how to do relief work.
Following the Corona Guide Line, 15 soldiers each from different districts of the division are being called and given training. Training of 15 jawans has started from May 17, including home guard jawans of Agar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Dewas, Shajapur and Ujjain.
Training at Dutt Arena Ghat
15 soldiers were taught by home guard trend soldiers to drive motorboats in the river. Provided training for rescue of drowning person in deep water and also for first aid. This training will last for 15 days, after which the second batch training will start.
