Medical College Dean Dr. Anant Pawar told that there are 60 ventilators in Kovid Care Center. About 30 of these have been used. A separate arrangement has been made for children’s PICU. Collector Anay Dwivedi, Additional Collector SL Singhade, SDM Harsud Dr. Parikshit Jhade, CMHO Dr. DS Chauhan, SDM Mamta Khede, Deputy Collector Anubha Jain, Civil Surgeon Dr. OP Jugtawat, Dr. Yogesh Sharma and other officers were present in the meeting.

Divisional commissioner Dr. Pawan Sharma also inquired about the pediatric PICU made in B Block. In the third wave of corona, it has been arranged to provide treatment when children are infected. In this ward, ten beds will be for children from zero to three months and ten beds for children up to 14 years. Its preparation has now been completed. Twenty-bed mother ward has been built near PICU. Where mothers of infected children will be able to live. Hydraulic beds, multi-para monitors, boxes, central oxygen systems, ventilators and pediatricians have been provided in this ICU.
