Sources say that there is a shortage of many medicines in the dispensaries. Physicians advise to bring these medicines from the market. Due to the shortage of these medicines, the demand letter is not sent at the departmental level in due time and patients are upset. After approval of the list of most compulsory medicines, it will be mandatory to keep them in the dispensaries. The list is made in such a way that these drugs are useful in most of the prevalent diseases. This will eliminate the compulsion to buy medicines from the market with timely availability of medicines.
