Traffic Police Indore: Challans deducted for 1000 people who do not wear helmets

In this regard, the police is taking challan action at the main intersections of the city. Traffic Police has issued challans for those who do not wear helmets in the month of June. Traffic DSP Umakant Chaudhary said that continuous action is being taken in the eastern region, so that road accidents can be reduced. Apart from those who do not wear helmets, police will take immediate action against the vehicles moving on the wrong side on the roads, entering the one-way, parking haphazardly and not giving side on the signal. In this regard, the traffic police will conduct thorough investigation at Court Square, Patnipura, Palasia, Malwa Mill, Regal, Jawahar Marg, MG Road and other major intersections.

East and West Zones Action on Vehicles

According to the DSP, most people park their vehicles on the service road in front of the mall located in Vijay Nagar. People’s vehicles are constantly being confiscated here. People are also being advised so that the traffic is not blocked. People are being advised to park their car in the parking lot. Similarly, in the colonies of the western region, people park their vehicles in front of service lines or houses. This makes the streets narrow. Residents constantly complain that people find it difficult to remove vehicles. Sometimes vehicles coming from opposite sides get stuck in the streets and there is a long jam. People have also been advised that if they park their vehicles at these places from now on, the vehicles will be confiscated.
