Unlock Gwalior: Gwalior. New Zealand Representative. Due to Corona virus, 46-day corona curfew was implemented in the state as well as in Gwalior in the past. From June 1, the city markets were being opened half-heartedly with a right-left arrangement. But on Thursday, all the markets and shops in the city were opened as per the orders of the district administration. It was feared that on the first day the market would be fully opened, there would be a crowd of people. But it didn’t happen. Due to less crowd in the markets like Topi Bazar, Nazar Bagh Market, Subhash Market, Gandhi Market, Naya Bazar, Madhauganj, Daulatganj, Nayesad, Old High Court etc., physical distance was being followed. Barring a few customers and traders, most people were also wearing masks. The situation in Lohia Bazar and Dal Bazar was also satisfactory.

Around 2 pm, there was silence in most of the markets, although traders attributed the heat to the low number of customers. Traders say that there has been an increase in the number of customers compared to the previous days. But as many customers did not come on Thursday before the entire market opened, as was expected.

-There was no crowd due to psychological thread

Three reasons were given by the traders for not being overcrowded in the markets on Thursday. The shopkeepers said that apart from the heat, women had kept Vat Savitri fast on Thursday, they spent the whole day in the housework and worship of the banyan tree. Due to which they did not reach the markets to buy. Apart from this, there was a partial solar eclipse in some parts of the country on Thursday. Although the Sutak of the solar eclipse was not in Gwalior, but still the eclipse had a psychological effect on the common people. People did all their work considering Sutak, due to which these people also did not come to shop.

We sit at the shop with a mask on, but still the chance of getting infected with corona does not decrease. In such a situation, what is the option left other than vaccination to protect yourself and family? When doctors are getting themselves and their children vaccinated, the vaccine is safe. Still, it is wrong to not get vaccinated.
