KUWAIT: The Ambassador of Vietnam to Kuwait Lee Toan Thang commended the distinguished Kuwaiti role, as well as the country’s comprehensive and qualitative efforts in the field of humanitarian and relief work. After Thang’s meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Dr Hilal Al-Sayer yesterday, the ambassador said in a press statement that he appreciates KRCS’ role in supporting people exposed to natural disasters and reducing their human suffering.

Thang was briefed on the distinguished humanitarian and relief activities provided by KRCS with the aim of supporting humanitarian and relief work worldwide, he said, underlining that it works to serve all of humanity. He commended what KRCS presented in combating COVID-19 locally and internationally, noting that the association provided a distinguished model regarding awareness and preventive measures for all citizens and residents.
