Bhopal News: When the shop was removed, the shopkeeper climbed the telephone tower

Bhopal News: Bhopal (Navdunia Representative). Desperate youth climbed on the telephone company’s tower in Chuna Bhatti area on Saturday night due to removal of gumthi due to construction of six lane road in Kolar area. After climbing to a height of about feet, he was threatening to jump from the top.

Apart from the staff of police, fire brigade, there was a huge crowd around. After constant persuasion from Mike and assuring him of a place for employment, he came down. However, to avoid any untoward incident, a strong net was also installed around the tower.

Chuna Bhatti police station in-charge Nitin Sharma said that 50-year-old Vishal Yadav, a resident of Barkhedi, used to set up a roadside soup shop near Bhoj University. His shop was removed due to the construction of Six Lane. Regarding this issue, Vishal had climbed the tower near Chuna Bhatti intersection at 9 o’clock in the night. Pankaj Khare, the fire brigade in-charge of Municipal Corporation’s Kolar had reached with his team. As a precaution, people held the tower by spreading nets around it. Constant communication was maintained from Vishal to Mike. At the same time, he was assured that a place would be arranged for him to keep the gumti. After that he came down. After this people heaved a sigh of relief.
