16 shops sealed for violation of Corona curfew

The corona curfew has been implemented in the district till 17 May 2021 to prevent the spread of corona infection. The corona curfew is being strictly enforced to break the chain of corona infection in the district. As many as 16 shops have been sealed in Vibhinah tehsils of the district. Due to non-compliance of Corona curfew, five shops have been sealed and bond papers have been filled by Balaghat Tehsildar Rambabu Dewangan in village Samnapur. The shops were kept open by these shopkeepers of Samnapur and the goods were being sold from them. Similarly, three shops violating the Corona curfew have been sealed by Katangi Tehsildar Shailendra Rai in Katangi. Two shops in Varasivani Nagar, Ajit Cloth Store and Samee Taylor, have been sealed by the combined team of Revenue and Police for violating the Corona curfew. Similarly, six shops of Tehsil have been sealed by Tirodi Tehsildar Bhagwan Das Kumre and a fine of two thousand rupees has been recovered from one shop in Tirodi. A fine of Rs two thousand has been recovered from his owner Mukesh’s father Ramu Dewangan when he found Dewangan grocery store in Tirodi open during the observance of the Corona curfew. Hotel and shop of Irobal father Irfan of Tirodi, Raj Grocery stores, Ashok Grocery store of Kailash father Poonaram in Bothwa, Manasvee Grocery store of Devendra father Jamuna Prasad Sharanagat in Katedara, Mahakaral Mens wear shop of Anil father Devicharan Sonwane and resident of Village Savari Madan father Shivram Chaudhary’s Shiva Grocery store in Katedara is sealed after being found open. In this action, Tirodi police station in-charge Chansingh Uike, revenue and police staff were present. When a hair salon is operational in Balaghat, along with sealing it, an FIR has been lodged in the police station at its operator.
