Even now the temperature in 72 districts of the state remains below five degrees. Cold wave prevailed in Betul Jabalpur, Chhatarpur, Rewa, Umaria and Datia. Meteorologists say that a powerful Western Disturbance is about to enter North India, due to which some increase in temperature in the next two days can bring relief from the cold.

Due to oppression, people of most areas of the state are shivering. Frost may also occur in some districts of East Madhya Pradesh. There may be frost in some areas of Gwalior and Sagar divisions. Even though there is some relief from the fog due to less moisture in the atmosphere. Umaria has been the coldest in the state on Monday. The mercury here has been 2.5 degree Celsius. Rewa remained on the second number. The minimum temperature has been recorded here at 3.6 degrees.

The minimum temperature in the capital Bhopal has increased by one degree to 7.2 degrees Celsius as compared to Sunday, which is 3.5 degrees less than normal. Apart from this, most A slight increase in the temperature was recorded in the districts. According to senior meteorologist Ajay Shukla, the weather pattern is likely to remain like this for the next two days. After this there can be some respite from the cold.

He told that on Tuesday a strong frequency western is about to enter North India. Due to its effect, due to change in the direction of the winds, there will be some increase in the temperature. This is expected to provide some respite from the severe cold.
