The preparations for the Narmada Jayanti festival at Omkareshwar were completed a day before. The duty of divers has been imposed on the ghats of Narmada for the security arrangements. In the morning, the process of worshiping Mother Narmada by the devotees will start here. Amrita Abhishek will be made by Pandit Gopal Dubey and his team from 251 liters of milk with chants. From here 50 the devotees will cover the Narmada river with the help of a meter long chunari boat. Worship will be recited by the devotees throughout the day at the ghats of Narmada. In the presence of Swami Satchidanand Giri Maharaj, worship-abhishek procession will be done by Pandit Kamal Kishore Nagar at Nagar Ghat and lamp will be donated in the night. Narmdiya Samaj will celebrate in Dharamsala today
