Barwani. The Anjad Police of the district has taken action to destroy the blazing illegal liquor distilleries on the banks of the Narmada river on Thursday. Illegal liquor makers have always been active in Chhotabarda, Golata, Mohipura etc. area of the police station area. Action was taken against the people. It has destroyed furnaces. Illegal liquor distilleries were found blazing during the operation. During this, the illegal liquor makers escaped, but the police team broke the furnaces and confiscated the utensils. During the raid, the team also destroyed a large amount of Mahua Lahan.
Illegal business does not stop in the absence of strict action
It is worth mentioning that illegal Mahua Lahan furnaces keep burning on the banks of Narmada in the district for a long time. Excise and police also take action, but in the absence of strict action, this illegal business is not being stopped completely.
