All India Service officers will get 34 percent dearness allowance from January
Bhopal (State Bureau). All India Services (ABSE) (IAS, IPS and IFS) officers will be sent to the state on January 1 2021 to 34 percent dearness allowance will be available. Employee organizations have objected to this discrimination being done in giving dearness allowance to All India Service and state government employees. The General Administration Department has started recruitment for All India Service Officers from 1st July 2021 and 1st January 2022. Orders have been issued to increase Dearness Allowance.
According to this, ever since the Central Government has implemented the increase in Dearness Allowance, its benefit has been increased for the IAS, IPS and IFS of Madhya Pradesh cadre. Employees organizations raised objection demanding equality of treatment

Sudhir Nayak, patron of ministerial employees and clerical class employees union, said that when dearness allowance is paid from the same budget, then there should be no discrimination.
Whereas, state third class employees union State Secretary Umashankar Tiwari said that such a decision causes frustration to the working class, which affects the work. If Dearness Allowance is given to the employees from the retrospective date, then the arrear amount is deposited in GPF and the officers are being paid in cash. Ganesh Dutt Joshi, Senior Vice President of Pensioners Association Madhya Pradesh said that dearness allowance and dearness relief should be paid to the employees and pensioners of the state likewise with retrospective effect.
