Under the direction of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shivam Verma, the employees of the corporation started a campaign from 6:00 am on Sunday, cleaned the lake park located in Deendayal Nagar and leveled the ground. Along with this, the work of deepening of the lake situated in the field was also done.

The Municipal Corporation has started work towards creating a green park in the city. So that oxygen can be available to the people. Apart from this, with the aim of saving rain water, the work of cleaning water sources is also being done along with planting trees in various parks. At the same time, a campaign has also been started for water harvesting and recharging of water sources with rain water. Under this campaign, a Shramdaan campaign was conducted on Sunday by the employees of the Corporation with large number of machinery and resources in Lake Wala Park located near Deendayal Nagar Gate. Under this campaign, the entire ground was cleaned and the work of deepening of the lake is being done. Along with this, cleaning is being done by de-silting of the stepwell built near this park. So that it can be recharged through rain water. Municipal Commissioner Shivam Verma said that with such a campaign, where there will be awareness among the citizens of the city about water conservation and plantation, the citizens of the city will also join the corporation in this campaign in maximum numbers.
