Gwalior News: Gwalior, Naidunia Representative. Corona’s infection may have affected every sector, but in the second wave of corona in the figures of the registration department, revenue has increased. There were seven times more registries in the second wave than in the first wave. During the Kovid transition, fewer people came to register, otherwise this figure would have been bigger. On Friday, a review meeting was held in the Registration Department regarding document registration during the Kovid period, in which this situation came to the fore. In April-May last year, 699 documents were registered, while this year 4618 registrations have been done in these two months. Due to this, Rs 40 crore 22 lakh 26 thousand 390 has reached the treasury of the department, whereas last year this figure was reduced to Rs 11.55 crore. In Indore, eight thousand in the second wave, four thousand in Bhopal and around 2300 in Jabalpur were registered.

The registration department was continuously open in the second wave: There was a lockdown in the first wave of corona and the corona virus was first encountered. In the second wave, many things including essential services remained open and the registration department also remained open continuously. Slots were reduced for registration, but were not closed. For this reason the registration process continued. Regarding the Kovid guidelines, the officers of the Registration Department had also written letters that security arrangements should be made in the office.
