Nearly three to four times patients are recovering daily compared to new. There is relief from the health department, administration as well as the general public. Due to this, the infection rate has come down from 9.98 percent to 4.22 in the last seven days.

With the addition of 52 new patients on Monday, the total number of patients has increased to 17048. So far 14907 patients have recovered, while 297 died. The 32-year-old Javara resident died on Monday. The number of active patients now is 1844. The district has an average infection rate of 10.83 and a recovery rate of 87.44 percent during the Corona period. The death rate is still 1.73.

242 beds vacant in medical college

Government Medical College received 29 new patients and 21 patients discharged on Monday. Dean Dr. Jitendra Gupta said that the total number of beds in the Medical College Hospital is 550, ICU beds 56 are all full. HDU has 152 patients in 172 beds. Oxygen beds 180 have occupants at 85. Non-oxygen beds are outpatient on 15 out of 142. A total of 308 are admitted to the Patient Hospital. Of these, 219 are positive and the rest are suspended or oxygen level. The hospital has 242 vacant beds. The total receipted is 7146, distributed 1557, adjusted 5444, current stock 145 as on the status of the remodecyr.

Distributed medicine kits to 24 patients

Health Officer AP Singh received the list of patients of Home Isolation from e-Daksha Center on Monday and provided 34 medicine kits from the district hospital store to the fire department of the corporation. The fire department was made available for distribution to the parties constituted ward wise. Medical kits were distributed door-to-door for home isolation patients by the parties constituted ward wise. According to the list, medical kits were distributed to 24 patients. For the prevention of corona infection, according to the instructions of Collector and Administrator Municipal Corporation Kumar Purushottam, the area where corona is getting infected, that area is being made a container zone. Under this, 170 Containment Zones have been created so far. Corporator Somnath Jharia said that sanitation work is being done through fire lorry and tractor at other places in the city along with the container area.
