Recently, the government has paid two lakh rupees. After this, the train is not being used to bring Bhopal, while in Sagar and Jabalpur, oxygen tankers are still being transported by train.

Let us tell you that the government is getting oxygen tankers from three big liquid oxygen suppliers like Inox, Einert, Winwin to supply oxygen to hospitals. Apart from this, the oxygen plant of Rourkela, Jamnagar, Bhilai, Bokaro, Modinagar is also being used to supply the tankers of oxygen through Air Force aircraft, Special Oxygen Express of Railways, but for this there is also no availability of oxygen tanker lorry. The reason is not being supplied uninterruptedly.

Oxygen consumption increased 12 times in two months

According to data received from the Health Department, the consumption of oxygen has increased by 12 times in April as compared to February 2021. This is because until February the number of corona infected patients was normal, but by the last week of March, the number of infected patients suddenly started to increase. While the consumption of oxygen in the state was 30 tonnes per day in February, it has increased to 354 tonnes in April. In this too, 110 tonnes of oxygen is needed daily in Bhopal city alone.

In the wake of oxygen crisis, Bhopal Division Oxygen Operation In-charge Vedamurthy Mishra said that he has decided to meet with all the district collectors of the division that oxygen will be supplied to Hoshangabad from Raisen district and Sehore, Vidisha and Rajgarh from Bhopal district. In this way oxygen will be supplied by forming clusters, then oxygen can also be transported everywhere on time. Apart from this, the number of oxygen cylinders arriving at various plants of the city has also been fixed. Not only this, teams of engineers have been deployed in every oxygen plant to ensure maximum use of oxygen.
