Umaria News : Umaria, New World Rep. A villager was attacked by a tiger in Panpatha buffer of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve on Wednesday morning. After attacking the villager, the tiger caught hold of him and dragged him inside the forest. In this incident, the villager died on the spot. The name of the deceased villager Nathu Pal father Devidin Pal age has been given as 50 years. According to the information received in this regard, the incident took place in Bilhua Haar under Jhal beat of Panpatha buffer. Giving information about the incident, the officials of the forest department said that Nathu Pal was near the forest, during which time the tiger caught hold of him and dragged him inside the forest.

The incident happened like this

The villagers told that Nathu Pal had left in the morning with the cattle. During this time this incident happened with him. When Nathu Pal reached Bilhua Haar, during this time the tiger hiding in the bushes attacked him and grabbed his neck and dragged him inside the forest. The information reached the forest department and the officers of the forest department also reached the spot.

The elephant team reached It was not easy to get out. Because the tiger was also present there. This is the reason that the elephant team was called on the spot and after the arrival of the elephant team, the tiger was chased inside the forest. After that the dead body of Nathu Pal was brought out from the forest. After bringing out the body, it was sent for postmortem. There was a lot of anger among the villagers regarding this incident.

The villagers made allegations He has been accused fiercely. The villagers say that wild animals come till the village but the forest department does not try to drive them inside. Forest Department officials do not even patrol, due to which we do not know where the tiger is. Had the patrolling been going on smoothly, the information about this time would have been with the forest department beforehand and such an incident would not have happened. The villagers have demanded that patrolling should be given serious attention and the safety of the villagers should be ensured.
