Indore District Wheat is being continuously procured at the support price. In the district till date 72 thousand 320 MT wheat has been procured. This wheat has been procured from farmers. The work of procurement in the district is being done at 344 Centre. All necessary arrangements have been made at the procurement centers for the convenience of the farmers. Collector Dr. Ilaiah Raja T has given necessary guidelines to the officers of the concerned department to ensure arrangements at the procurement centres.
In its implementation today, District Marketing Officer Arpit Tiwari and other officials inspected the procurement centers and reviewed the arrangements. It was informed that there are adequate arrangements for seating, drinking water, shade, tolkata etc. for the farmers at the procurement centres. Tiwari told that fast efforts are on to solve the technical problem faced by the farmers in slot booking.
He told that this problem will be solved in a day or two. He informed that 100 percent wheat of prescribed quality will be purchased from all the registered farmers in the district.
