Bhopal News: Roads made of ponds due to rain of half an hour, responsible for accidents waiting for repairs

Bhopal News: Bhopal (Navdunia Representative). Due to half an hour of rain in the city on Friday afternoon, the roads became waterlogged. Motorists had to face problems due to the filling of water in the potholes of the uprooted roads. Despite this, repairing of these roads is not even being done in the pits. And the responsible officials are waiting for the accidents to get them repaired. Roads are dilapidated for more than kilometer. These include Municipal Corporation and PWD roads. The length of the main road from B Sector Piplani to Khajuri Kala in Govindupara assembly constituency is about six kilometers. In this, pits of six to eight feet have been made at other places including B Sector Basti, SOS Balagram, Khajuri Kala. Due to the filling of water in them at night, the pits of the road are not known, due to which the drivers remain afraid of road accidents. Same is the condition of the route from SOS to Awadhpuri. Similarly, the roads in more than two dozen colonies of BHEL area have become dilapidated, but here neither the roads are being repaired nor these potholes are being filled.

Residents forced to clear the mud of the uprooted road

The ward number coming in Narela assembly here 69 Roads have not been constructed in Lala Lajpat Rai Colony located in the last many years. In such a situation, even if it rains a little, the road gets filled with mud. Due to which it became difficult for the residents to leave the house. The residents complained about this from the local MLA to the responsible officials of the Municipal Corporation, but no solution was found. Now under compulsion people themselves are cleaning the mud of these roads, making drainage system in them.

Most of the PWD roads in BHEL area have been repaired before the monsoon. The construction of the remaining ones is also proposed. They will be constructed soon.
