However, recently Sultania has been merged back in Hamidia Hospital. After which this problem is over, but by preparing to shift the said department from JP Hospital to Katju, efforts are being made to repeat the mistake made years ago. Although there is talk of shifting the Department of Pediatrics from JP to Katju, even then pregnant women may have to face many challenges. Opposition to this has started.
If the shifting is done then the city dwellers will suffer like this
1- There is currently 150 bed in the obstetrics department of Jaypee Hospital. After shifting, women living near Jaypee Hospital will suffer. They will have to go to Katju Hospital after traveling a long distance.
2- A senior health department official told that in Katju Hospital 150 There will be beds, but it would have been better if the same beds were increased without shifting the said department from JP.
3- If both the hospitals have separate If there are separate obstetric and pediatric departments, then the pressure will be less, needy women and babies will get treatment soon. Even the doctors will not have to worry. Common citizens say that the preparations which are being done by the officials right now, if it is successful, then there is bound to be a loss.
Women This also harm
– Health experts say that pregnant women and babies also have other problems, which are free to treat. Departments and experts are needed. In such a situation, it is better to have a hospital in which all the departments operate so that any kind of diseases can be treated immediately. This will not be possible in Katju Hospital, as efforts are being made to make it only for pregnant women and babies. According to experts, if a woman gets a heart attack during labor pain, she will not be able to get treatment immediately and her life can also be lost.
Some officials are counting these benefits
– there will be an independent hospital for women and children. New posts will be created. There will be new equipment. The patient will be attended in the shortest possible time. The hospital building is good, big space will be available for each ward. On shifting from JP to the Department of Obstetrics and Pediatrics, Katju, if the space will be vacant, then there will be space for other departments.
All India Old Pension Restoration Federation President Pramod Tiwari, Udit Singh Bhadauria, TS Mishra, LS Verma and Sunil Parashar wrote to the Chief Minister against the shifting written. In which it has been said that if the shifting happens, then the officers and employees of Sonography, Blood Bank, Medicine Department, Anesthesia Department, Blood Bank, Mother Milk Bank etc. will be affected. Women will also not be able to get complete treatment in totality.
Preparation in Katju, Jaypee Hospital people do not know
The preparations have started in Katju Hospital regarding shifting. Recently some senior officers have also inspected. At the same time, Jaypee Hospital management has no information in this regard. Officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that nothing has come to them in writing so far and they do not want to say anything.
