Puddle. New World Representative
IG Avinash Sharma and SP Amit Sanghi, who came to inspect Sindh river a day earlier for illegal excavation of sand, escaped by dodging submarines after dodging the sand mafia. But on the second day, police raided the ghats of Sindh river, submarines were found in the Sindh river of Sileta, Bader of Bichor area and Bijkpur area of Bhitwar. They were immediately destroyed by fire. On Monday, five submarines were set on fire at different places. Here two submarines escaped by submerging the sand mafia in the water.
Dabra SDOP Vivek Sharma and Pichore TI Ramesh Shakya along with their team reached the Sind River ghat in the Sylheta region. Where submarine nuggets were found in the river. After this, he went ahead and found two submarines at two places. They were destroyed by fire. Complaints were reaching the IG about the illegal mining of sand in the Sindh river. After which action has been taken against the dodging sand mafias in Dabra and Bhitarwar together.
Action on two ghats, overlooking other ghats including Lohari
Bhitarwar: On Monday afternoon, SDOP Abhinav Kumar Barangay, station in-charge Pankaj Tyagi along with the police force reached the Sindh River Ghat in village Bijakpur of the police station area, and found two submarines illegally excavating sand in the river. They were thrown out of the river and ransacked and set on fire. It is a matter of concern that action was taken on these two ghats, but from the Lohari Ghat of Sindh River to Bijakpur, Ajitpura, Ladaiapura, Pavaya etc., there is continuous illegal mining of sand. Where mining is done in the river with the help of pokelen machines. From here, transport is being done through tractor trolleys and dumpers. Not only this, sand is also being transported in huge quantities from tractor trolleys in front of Bhitwar police station in the dark of night. There is no action against them.

Information reaches before police rage
There has been continuous illegal mining of sand at about 10 to 12 ghats of Sindh river. The sand mafia are now active in a few ghats due to the strictness of the past few days. The worrying thing is that before the police action comes, the information reaches the mafias and they run away by sinking their submarines. If action is taken on the ghats of Lidhaura, Belgadha, Chandpur, Sili, Lohari etc. of Dabra area then the reality of illegal mining in Sindh can be revealed.
