Earthquake in Madhya Pradesh: 3.4 magnitude earthquake jolted between Jabalpur-Kundam late at night

Earthquake in Madhya Pradesh: Jabalpur. Naiduniya Pranidhi. Earthquake jolted Jabalpur on Sunday night. The magnitude of the earthquake has been reported as 3.4 magnitude. The intensity of the earthquake was so low that no one felt it. Even the scientists of the district administration and the earthquake observatory could not tell anything about it. An earthquake was recorded in the National Center for Seismology at 1:1 o’clock 23. Its center was between Jabalpur and Kundam, about 10 km depth from the ground.

Confirming this, Dr. Ved Prakash Singh, Senior Scientist of the Meteorological Department in Bhopal said that the tremors of the earthquake are still expected in many districts of Jabalpur division including Umaria. According to him, the intensity of these tremors will be less. He said that the earthquake is happening due to the premature rain.

Gas are formed due to lime rocks

According to Dr. Veda, there are lime rocks in Umaria, Jabalpur, Katni, Dindori, Mandla, Damoh, where when the rain water reaches inside the ground, the gas comes out. There is a slight movement in the ground to fill the gap that is created within the ground. He said that all the tremors that are likely to come from the earthquake will be of low intensity. Last year, mild tremors of earthquake were felt in Seoni and Chhindwara eight to ten times. Scientist of Delhi’s Earthquake Observatory said that there were mild tremors of earthquake in Jabalpur-Kundam and Narayanganj.
