Employees protested at the Bank of India’s branch located at Phulbagh from today am on Friday. Many work of the customers who went to the bank got stuck due to the employees going on strike. The customers who went to the bank had to return disappointed after seeing the locks on the disappointed banks.

Along with the demand to recover the NPA accounts of industrial houses and strengthen the nationalized banks, the bank employees say that after getting loans from public sector banks to the industrialists, they are not able to recover them. In such a situation, they go to the government bank. On Friday, hundreds of employees including Upaswarhim Khan of United Forum of Bank Union Officers Union Deputy General Secretary Agarwal convener Virendra Srivastava Employees Union went on strike.
