Seven hours shutdown was done from Tighra to find leakage and water supply from Tighra to Municipal Corporation’s filter plants was stopped which was started at 7.30 pm. Even after opening the shutdown, in the process of water reaching and filtration at Motijheel, Tighra and Jalalpur plants 26 to hour’s time, due to which the tanks could not be filled completely overnight. On the other hand, on Saturday, the 72 tanks of the South Assembly constituency could fill half, due to which water came with low pressure and half the population could not reach After five o’clock in the evening, water was supplied by PHE in Vinay Nagar Sector-1,2,3, Bahodapur, Gol Paharia, Suburban and Murar areas.
