Khandwa By Election: 50.61 percent polling in Burhanpur till 3 pm for Khandwa Lok Sabha by-election

Khandwa By Election: Burhanpur (Naiduniya Representative). Voting was held on Saturday in eight assembly seats for the by-election to the Khandwa-Burhanpur Lok Sabha seat. Near Parliamentary Constituency .68 candidates now in the hands of lakh voters Fate decides. On Saturday morning, voters showed enthusiasm amidst the chilly winds of pink cold. This time

due to the presence of sixteen candidates in the election fray. More than one polling station has been set up. Two EVM machines have been installed in each booth. The contest in this election is believed to be between BJP candidate Dnyaneshwar Patil and Congress candidate Rajnarayan Singh Purani. Those above the age of eighty years in the parliamentary constituency 56 ,919 Elderly and 03,571 are handicapped. Most of them have already voted by postal ballot.

Talking about the two assembly constituencies of Burhanpur district, here is about 5.

There are lakhs of voters. Out of these 2. Lakh Nepanagar and of the assembly 3.09 Lakhs of Burhanpur Vidhan Sabha voters are included. A total of 571 polling stations have been set up in the district for the Lok Sabha by-elections. Out of these 100 centers have become pink polling booths. In which only women employees are handling the command of voting. For Security in Polling Stations 30 More than a hundred police personnel have been deployed. The duty of 4060 employees has been imposed to conduct the polling in the district. About half of these employees have been called from adjoining districts. More than fifty percent of the centers have been kept under surveillance by CCTV cameras.
