Here mustard has not been purchased in any center yet because farmers have not come to sell.

Departmental officials say that this time there is sale of gram, masoor and mustard in the market and market at a price higher than the support price, hence farmers are not showing interest in selling the produce at the support price. Purchases will continue till May 15 and not a single farmer has come to sell mustard, while messages are being sent to all the registered farmers. The price of gram and masoor in the support price is Rs 5100 while that of mustard is Rs 4050 per quintal. Agriculture Deputy Director GS Mohania said that the departmental staff are constantly sending messages and information is also being sent by phone, but farmers are not interested in selling at the support price for the price. Now a week has to be purchased. If farmers want to sell produce, go to the centers and take advantage of the support price. Now the date of purchase date is also expected to increase.

Wheat procurement is being done at various procurement centers in the district. It is being inspected by the District Supply Department officials. District Supply Officer SH Chaudhary along with Junior Supply Officer Piploda inspected wheat procurement center Piploda number one and two.
