Madhya Pradesh News: Ration will be distributed through Food ATM in the state, machine came for trial in Bhopal

Many problems like theft of food grains during ration distribution, less ration given to ration card holders and adulteration in food grains will be a thing of the past. Now citizens in the state will be able to withdraw their ration from Food ATM (Annapurti) like Rs. Bhopal district has been selected for the pilot project. Here the state’s first dispensing machine has been installed in the government fair price shop located at Aishbagh. Due to which the process of distribution of ration has been started as a trial. If this experiment is successful, it will soon be installed in major cities of the state. Discussed with the company and the food officials there and also studied the arrangements for distribution of food grains. The company is ready to give some more machines to the government, but for this the government will have to enter into a contract with the company.

Even now the beneficiaries will put a thumb impression in the POS machine and their ration will be entered on the food ATM machine, which will be visible on the screen attached to it. In this way, by turning on the button in the machine, the prescribed quantity of ration will automatically come out of the machine. For this, the beneficiary will have to link his Aadhaar number, mobile and ration card. Training will also be given to ration shop operators and beneficiaries to operate the machine. A code will also be given to run it.
