Madhya Pradesh's science technology and innovation policy will be released today

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan released Madhya Pradesh’s Science, Technology and Innovation Policy MPSTIP-2022 will be held on December in the Golden Jubilee Auditorium of the Academy of Administration.

Science and Technology Department Secretary Nikunj Srivastava told that Science and Technology and MSME Minister Om Prakash Sakhalecha, Central Principal Scientific Advisor Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Member of NITI Aayog Dr. Vijay Kumar Saraswat, Director of IIT Gandhinagar Prof. Rajat Moona, Vice Chairman of Madhya Pradesh State Policy Planning Commission, Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, Senior Advisor and Additional Secretary, Government of India Prof. Akhilesh Gupta, ISRO Bangalore Director Dr. Sudhir N, Vigyan Bharati National Secretary Praveen Ramadoss and MAPCAST ​​Director General Dr. Anil Kothari, Department Heads of Scientific Institutions of Madhya Pradesh and persons from research and academic fields will also be present.

It is notable that science, technology and innovations have an important role in the all-round development of Madhya Pradesh. Appropriate science policy and investment along with abundant resources and industrial infrastructure can increase the growth rate. Continuous efforts are being made to do so. Keeping these facts in the center, the Madhya Pradesh Science, Technology and Innovation Policy-2022 has been drafted. Principal Secretary Srivastava informed that a Creative Learning Center is also being set up with IIT Gandhinagar to further the promotion of science and to develop scientific awareness in the society. For this, there will also be an MoU between IIT Gandhinagar and Mapcast.
