People used to call me one-two-three girl in childhood: Geeta Basra

Bhopal (Navduniya representative). Since childhood, I was fond of acting and dancing. Be it any festival, function or event, I never miss any opportunity to dance to the songs of Madhuri Dixit or Sridevi. I was so famous in my city that I was named one-two-three girl. I used to watch video cassettes in VCR and it was so crazy for me that 10- VCR had to be changed by running the cassette. This is to say of film actress Geeta Basra, who is in Bhopal these days for the shooting of her upcoming project film ‘Notary’.

In discussion with Navdunia, she told that ‘Notary’ is my comeback. Perfect film for. When I was narrated the story, I thought to myself what a wonderful story. He told that when I came to India, I knew very little Hindi but could read and write because I had taken Hindi classes from my uncle since childhood. I was given the choice whether to learn Punjabi or Hindi. I thought that Hindi would be useful in future, so I learned Hindi. At my home, used to talk to the staff in Hindi, so that I could learn Hindi well.

Coming from UK to India proved to be the turning point

Coming to India from UK was the turning point of my life. It just changed my life. I had never imagined that a 18 year old girl from a small town would leave her family and learn to live alone in a different city and Will ever work in films. Every day thousands of people come to try their luck, but unfortunately the dreams of some remain unfulfilled. I am thankful to God that my dream of working in films has come true. I came to India and took acting classes of Kishore Namit Kapoor and after some time I got my first break in the movie.

Diet plan spoiled by delicious food of Bhopal

I am very conscious about health. I eat well, I am happy, so even after having two children, when someone now does some appreciating while making a comeback in films, it feels good. By the way, my diet plan has deteriorated after coming to Bhopal, because so much good food is available here that I am eating very fondly. Although I give one hour daily to exercise and yoga.

If biopic on Harbhajan Singh is made then Vicky is perfect

If a biopic is made on Harbhajan Singh, then I think Vicky Kaushal can do full justice to his character. Can carry Punjabi look very well. Please tell that the producer of the film Notary is Shabbir Baxwala and director Pawan. Param is very good actor as co-star of Geeta.
