Matla: A six-year-old girl living in the area near Maulana (Aalim) of Imamoowal Madrasa used to come to study in Zakaria Masjid in Khanshawali Kalani. On Friday, when the family asked to go to the madrasa in the afternoon, he refused. After this, after hearing the incident of the girl child, they went straight to Zakaria Masjid. A large number of people gathered here in no time. On getting information about the incident, TI Ishwar Singh Chauhan from Moghat police station reached the spot. Here Maulana was arrested from the mosque and brought to the Moghat police station.

Within a short time there was a crowd outside the police station. Angry people surrounded the police station due to Maulana’s dirty act. Seeing the crowd increasing, at first the police explained to the people and asked them to go back, but when they did not agree, the police had to use mild force. The situation came under control after the crowd was dispersed. Moghat police station in-charge Ishwar Singh Chauhan said that a case was registered against the accused Maulana Abdul Samad under other sections including the Posco Act and 72. The accused has been sent to jail.
