Senior journalist Shiv Anurag Pateria dies during treatment at hospital in Indore

Indore. Senior journalist, editor and writer Shiva Anurag Pateriya has died in Indore on Wednesday morning. He was undergoing treatment at the Bombay Hospital in Indore after a corona infection. His oxygen level was greatly reduced. In the meantime, he breathed his last this morning due to a heart attack. Director General of Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi has expressed deep grief over the demise of Shiva Anurag Pateria Pateria, saying that his death is a great loss for journalism and social sector.

Pro. Dwivedi said that Shiva was a journalist battling for Anurag Pateriya public issues. He started journalism in 1978 as a regional journalist from Chhatarpur and made a national recognition. His books written in the context of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are extremely valuable works. Pro. Dwivedi said that his departure is creating a void for all the young journalists, journalism, which is difficult to fill. He said that Pateria devoted his entire life to journalism, writing and social concerns. While fighting against injustice, he came into journalism and maintained his edge. He was soft-spoken by nature, but used to do what he had to write and say in his journalism.
